Birthday Boys

Two weeks ago our little baby boys turned 2 years old!!! On Saturday the 16th we celebrated the last two years with them. We have had so many great memories with them, I can't imagine anything without them. It is amazing to think they started out so tiny and now to see how much they have grown and how much they can each do. They are truly little miracles. It amazing to think they were born at only 4 lbs 9 oz and 5 lbs 11 oz. They were only barely longer than Kevin's hands. Now they are both in the 90th percentile for height and 85 and 95 percentile for weight. They sure caught up in a hurry.

They have changed and grown up so much over the last two years.

For their birthday the boys woke up to find a new basketball hoop Kevin and had set up for them and then spent the majority of the morning playing with it. They absolutely loved it and I think Kevin enjoyed watching them play with it. Then Kevin had to take off and help out at the dental school with a buddy. The boys and I had breakfast and I let them put candles in their yogurt for breakfast. They love the Happy Birthday song and getting to blow out candles. Then after breakfast they played for a bit while I worked on their birthday cake. Since they weren't dressed yet and I was feeling especially nice I let them lick the bowl after I made the cake. The made a spectacular mess but really had lots of fun. It was a great morning.
