Our Avery Alison is already five weeks old. They sure don't stay small for very long at all. I miss the newborn already!!! I just wanted to update all the things she has been doing. First, she is an absolute angel, she never cries. There is lots of grunting and cooing and noises of all kind, but she isn't a crier. Second, she has the most beautiful smile, and she can use it on cue to melt her daddy. She doesn't smile as much for anyone except her dad. They must have a special bond. Third, she can really hold her head up so well and not to mention he really strong legs and arms that hurt if she decides to use them against ya. I know she'll be able to hold her own while playing with her older brothers. Fourth, she loves to sleep on her tummy. I know the doc says the back is best but she can just sleep for hours on her tummy. At nights she is still on her back but for naps during the day I let her lay on her stomach.

I let Ellie take naps on her tummy on the couch during the day. She sleeps so much better that way too! My mom got me started when she came to help. I guess i only slept on my stomach when i was a baby too. Avery is too adorable!! i can't wait till Ellie starts to smile.

Kerry, I can't get enough of your new little girl! She is soooo cute! I love her newborn pictures with the flower on her head. She is a doll! Your family is so cute! Sorry about the fire ants. My Dad seems to think right after getting bit, if you scrape them with a butter knife and scrub them with dishwashing soap, it takes the sting away and prevents them from getting infected. Works for him. I've never had the chance to test it out though. Anyways, if you're ever in dallas, let me know and we should get together!! Ya'll can even stay with us if you'd like!
kallie wants to "play baby avery" every time we pull out of our complex and turn left. i don't know what the connection is but you guys need to come back so we can hang out and she can get her fix. she is getting so big and shes just so cute!
